The actual flavour and consistency of the bar was great and i really enjoyed it. Normally if i’m picking a protein bar or anything like this i will stay away from the chocolate orange but it wasn’t too bad.
When should you eat this?
You should look to have this at least 45 minutes before your workout. Because you are consuming via food it takes longer to work itself into around the body so you will have a delayed impact if you are comparing to pre-workout drinks.
Pule Bar Review – Conclusion
If you are heading to the gym and want a massive boost before you get to it don’t expect this to change your world. I had a mild increase in energy that would be comparable to having some tea. This isn’t going to turn your gym session into a memorable moment but it will give you a pick-me-up. Personally i would still rather take a massive hit of pre-workout but if that is not available and you like to feel like you’re eating rather than drinking then maybe give it a go.
