Outlift is a pre-workout that can fit for many people of different athletic types.
We’ve seen it around for a while and decided to give it a try.
Pre-Workout has been a revelation and the ingredient profiles have come on a long way in the last few years. They continue to improve and this is one of the best around.
Citrulline Malate 2:1 (8g)
Supplementing with citrulline malate has been shown to directly increase the number of repetitions, reduce fatigue and significantly decrease muscle soreness post exercise.
Could regard this as a must have in a pre-workout. Citrulline Malate has been shown to increase Nitric Oxide and blood arginine levels which can provide an elevation of protein synthesis, creatine synthesis and BCAA increased utilisation during your workout.
Carnosyn Beta-Alanine (3.2g)
Beta-alanine delays muscle fatigue to help increase lean mass and enhance strength.
Increases carsonine levels, with research suggesting that this can help with endurance when increasing training length.
Creapure Creatine Monohydrate (3g)
Creapure Creatine Monohydrate is produced using a patented process which guarantees purity, effectiveness and potency.
Creatine is one of the most clinically acknowledged supplements around, research showing that supplementing will improve all areas from growth, to strength and power.
Leucine stimulates muscle protein synthesis.
Supplementing with 3g of Leucine provides the needed amount to promote maximal protein synthesis.
Isoleucine is one of the essential amino acids that is known for its ability to increase endurance and assist in muscle repair and recovery.
Isoleucine is another essential amino acid, associated with increasing endurance and assisting in muscle repair and recovery.
Supplementing with 1.5g of Isoleucine provides the glucose, used as fuel, for your body to burn as energy.
An amino acid, Valine encourages muscle repair and tissue growth.
Research has shown that Valine helps with maintaining the nitrogen balance in the body and is needed for muscle metabolism.
Taurine brings with it some of the benefits of caffeine in increasing alertness, endurance and recovery.
Caffeine is one of the most well-researched performance enhancement ingredients.
Supplementing with Caffeine immediately increases work volume and muscle strength, mental alertness and mood, assists in fat loss and helps you train at a higher intensity level.
Research has shown this essential amino acid supports brain function including increasing mental focus and alertness, dopamine levels, mood and energy during exercise.
N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is 20 times more water soluble and better absorbed to raise tyrosine levels in the body.
Research has shown that BioPerine enhances drug and nutrient absorption in the body which improves the effectiveness of key ingredients.
Mixing with Outlift wasn’t really an issue, it tends to go together with water really well and you don’t end up with any sediment in their after it’s settled.
It will build up pressure if you are a bit too vigourous with it in a shaker so beware. We’ve all been there when the kitchen is peppered from floor to ceiling with whatever flavour you’ve got. This is also on the label as a warning should you forget.
1 scoop is enough which means you can control how strong you want it really in terms of mixing with water.
So in terms of my workout effectiveness, I certainly noticed a difference when taking this. But it does come at a high dosage of caffeine.
At 350mg you are sure to get a massive kick in one go which for me I wouldn’t really want every day, my workout tends to vary and i also like to stay alert at work, so having a decent amount of caffeine in one hit leaves me at a loss during work then.
For that reason i wouldn’t make this my first choice pre-workout, i’ll be sticking with our top pre-workouts which you can see in the link below.
