So we are back with another product test for all you gym-goers out there looking for the perfect supplements to get with your workouts. Now we are going to run through the Demon Labz Pre Workout Beast Review for you all.
I actually came across this pre-workout whilst scouting around for potential Christmas presents a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t notice it at first as the packaging does look similar to others on the market that I’ve seen previously.
I had a look through these and decided to go with the berry flavoured, they do also have tropical twist and blue raspberry, I would say from the results on amazon the berry flavoured is certainly the favourite.
Demon Labz Pre Workout Beast – Ingredients
Creatine is a great addition to pre-workout. It gives you pump and helps with power and strength. It is stored in the body as phosphocreatine and helps to keep up energy and power when the body is under stress. This also helps with recovery.
Demon Labz Pre Workout contains 1.5g of creatine pre serving which will help whilst the specific workout, but you won’t see all the benefits of using creatine as if you were loading it.
A fast absorbing sugar that goes straight into the bloodstream. I’m personally unsure on this one, I’m not sure sugars are required in a pre-workout. Depending on your insulin levels at the time, you could see a negative effect on this and actually crash during your workout.
Not something I would be keen on having in my pre-workout as a rule of thumb. For me, the idea of pre-workout is to have the supplements to take on a workout, not just ply with sugar to feel a burst of energy. I can deal with my diet separately.
Something that has been around pre-workouts for some time. This is designed to reduce the build-up of lactic acid in the body in short bursts of exercise, the thought being that this can help during workouts. It will give you a tingly feeling, but all safe.
other ingredients include L-Glutamine, L-Taurine, Citrulline Malate, Caffeine and Beetroot Extract.
Conclusion – Demon Labz Pre-Workout
If you are after a cheap pre-workout then this is definitely on the cheaper scale. But does it have the effect that you get from a top pre-workout? No.
Also, it’s a bit of a faceless product. Designed to stick on Amazon and sell, there is no ownership as to what this product is and who it stands for and what the company is.
The ingredients are a bit short-changed also, not quite at the recommended doses so whilst you are paying less, you’re also not getting the same bang for your buck.
This is based on caffeine overload in some respects, that might work for some people, for me though it’s not something I really want to take at 8:30 pm as I head to the gym in an evening.
For me, it would be a case of saving the money and buy one of our top-rated pre-workouts to get the real benefits of pre-workouts before you smash the gym.
